Shri Shamjibhai Harjibhai Talaviya Charitable (SHTC) Trust managed School of Physiotherapy, RK University (RKU) has organized a free physiotherapy camp at Sardhar village on 9th April, 2016 with the aim of importance of physiotherapy and to help the needy people.

In the camp patients with Osteoarthritis, Low back pain, cervical radiculopathy, heel pain, knee pain, hemiplegic patients, traumatic and non traumatic pain, soft tissue injuries etc.. were assessed and treated. For further consultation, the required patients were referred to RK University, School of physiotherapy Out Patient Department. We also emphasized on medical consultation for some required patients for which we encouraged them to visit RK University. Shri Saminarayan Hospital staff and its management were of great help and supported us thoroughly. Overall, 60 patients were evaluated on this day.

The camp was coordinated by Dr. N Ramesh, faculty, School of physiotherapy, RK University and Dr. Viral Dhamecha, Clinical Therapist with the support of 8th semester students Ms. Namrata Nasit, Ms. Shalimi Khant, Ms. Amil Gandhi, Ms. Pallavi Varyani, Ms. Barkha Madhvan, Ms. Heeena Parmar, Ms. Yogini, Ms. Zarna Dabhi, Ms. Arti Dhacha, Ms. Nidhi Prajapati, Ms. Archna Kokani, Ms. Nirupa, Ms. Jinal Chaudhari, Ms. Devangi Gosai, Ms. Dhruti Vaghasia, Ms. Mauri Vghasiya, Ms. Hiral along with 2nd semester PG student Ms. Prayosha.

On successful conduct of the camp President Shri Khodidas Bhai Patel, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ranjit Goswami and Director Dr. Priyanshu Rathod from RK University have congratulated to faculty and students.
