DEPARTMENT PROFILE
- Ventilated dissection hall with embalming room, histology labs, well-equipped museum, and lecture theater and seminar room.
- Dissection hall is equipped with twelve full size dissection tables, incinerator, bone and meat cutting machine and fiber glass cadaver tanks.
- The student histology laboratory has sufficient number of binocular microscopes, automatic tissue processor, knife sharpener, tissue strainer, cryostat and autoclave.
- In addition the department has four slide projectors, overhead projector, embryology and neuro anatomy projection slides as teaching aids.
- The museum displays 160 dissected specimens, 75 models, 250 charts and drawings and a catalogue of the specimens. The museum has 4 fetus skeletons, 25 disarticulated skeletons, 50 complete skulls and 44 sets of disarticulated skull bones. Several Animated /Still CD’s for teaching /self learning

- Research Lab is the hub of Bachelors & Masters Research activity.
- Students train themselves through research projects on advanced instrumentation that are available in the department.
- Our department is equipped with advanced instruments including Pulmonary Function Testing Machine, RMS Electro diagnostic Equipment (EMG-NCV Instrument),Sensabalance board (sensamove balance board), Hand grip dynamometer, Algometer, pelvic floor exerciser etc… for the students and staffs to carry out various research projects.

Department has devices related to rehabilitation like orthosis (Different splints, cervical collars, braces, corsets) and different models for students for practical purposes. Here there is also availability of projector for lectures
Department is mainly use for lectures for MPT students, group discussion of students and meetings of faculties as well as students.
